AI receptionist for Quebec businesses

What Cedri does on a clinic call

Cedri starts with the services it finds on your website or business listing, or with General Appointment, Physical Exam and Walk-in Visit if it finds none, so it can take a real booking on the very first call. Add, rename or remove services in the app any time.

Answers in English and French

Callers are answered in the language they speak, on the same line, with no menu to press through.

Books the job, not a message

Cedri reads your live availability and locks in a real slot before the caller hangs up.

Passes the call to you

When a caller asks for a person, Cedri can put the call through to a number you choose.

Texts the caller, and you

The caller gets a confirmation text when the booking is made and a reminder the day before. They can reply 2 to cancel. You get a text with their number and a short summary after every call.

What Cedri asks a caller before booking

A booking is only worth having when it arrives with the details. Before it books, Cedri asks whether the caller is already a patient, what they need to be seen for, whether it is urgent or can wait, and whether they have a valid health card. The answers are written on the booking you see in the app.

A receptionist, not a nurse line

Cedri asks whether the caller is already a patient, what they need to be seen for, whether it is urgent or can wait, and whether they have a valid health card. The reason goes on the booking in the caller’s own words, for your staff to read. When a caller describes something urgent, Cedri puts them through to the number you set, or takes an urgent message if you have not set one. Questions that need judgement, such as whether a referral is needed or whether you take new patients, go back to your team.

Referrals go back to your staff

The template takes the reason for the visit and lets the clinic confirm, rather than telling a caller what they do or do not need.

Walk-ins without a promise

The seeded answer does not promise a walk-in slot will be there. It offers to book a time instead, which is the only thing that can actually be held.

Appointments land in the Cedri agenda

Bookings go into the agenda in the Cedri app. There is no built-in link to your clinic’s medical records software.

What callers ask, and what Cedri says

Here is some of what Cedri says from the very first call, before you change anything. These answers send questions about your licence, your insurance and your warranties to you. Cedri says a price only when it finds one in your service list, your answers or your website, so check those prices in the app before you go live. Edit any answer in the app.

A caller asks: “Are you accepting new patients?”

Cedri answers: “Tell me a bit about what you need and I’ll pass it along. The clinic confirms whether it’s taking new patients right now.”

A caller asks: “Do I need a referral?”

Cedri answers: “Whether you need a referral depends on the type of visit. Tell me the reason and the clinic will confirm.”

A caller asks: “Do you accept walk-ins?”

Cedri answers: “Walk-in availability changes day to day. Booking ahead is the surest way to be seen. Want me to find you a time?”
